Join us on our journey to raise awareness and funds for motor
neurone disease. Together we can make a difference, bringing
us closer to better treatments and a cure.
On 26th June 2025, our lives changed forever when my husband Andrew was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease (MND) at the age of 53. The words brought devastation, shock, and disbelief. It’s hard to imagine how three letters—”MND”—can completely transform your world.
I first became aware of MND through watching a documentary about Rob Burrow, the rugby player who was diagnosed with the disease. Never did I imagine that this knowledge would become so personally relevant.

The MND Association focuses on improving access to care, research, and campaigning for those living with or affected by MND in England, Wales, and Northern Ireland.
Registered Charity: RCN294354
